Based out of Perth, Western Australia, BANKRUPTURE is a political, sometimes satirical, but always heavy hitting rapper. Influenced by the West Coast (America) DIY sound of the late 80’s and early 90’s, BANKRUPTURE has a deep tone like Chali 2na of Jurassic 5 fame, with a dirty undertones that promote a unique sense of aggression not commonly found in Australian Hip-Hop.

Leroy st James is no saint. He’s got a middle class white guy style - by his own admission. Leroy is a diverse rapper who is still learning the ropes. He’s un-polished & rough around the edges but he approaches his style with humour and humility. Leroy is an interesting prospect, with insightful and sometimes self-depreciating lyrics. Leroy’s style is unique drawing from breaks and funk as his main musical inspirations.
