Bustin’ it on SandShores

Had a fun time experimenting with a harsher sound, focused around a steady breakbeat which ended up shuffling almost like house.

I’ve been playing a bit of GTA , I’m probably breaking some copyright laws with this one.

The frenetic energy drives the track, and the vox inserts in it.

ARTIMUS V

Artimus V is a fictional space ship, which serves as the theme for the track exploring space , both physically and metaphorically. The sound is combines rich melodies over a simple C , E , F chord progression.

Artiumus is a bit of a dance experiment, with a focus on working with synthesis rather than samples (mostly). The Bass line was an experiment with a Rickenbacker sound overlaid over a Sine Wave to give it a thicker sound.

The goal was to create a chilled electronic track with lots of buildups, sweeps and other EDM goodness.

life is a racecar

A synth feature with a grooving beat. Life is a Racecar is a simple chilled tune with a focus on harmonies and interactions with the bass that “drives” the song - get it?

in my mind

In my mind is the first track to feature Leroy St. James. It’s a dark & edgy track which also has chill at the same time. It’s a personal introspection for St. James with his challenges facing ADHD.
